"Hubby and I were long overdo for a getaway. A last minute decision had us looking for a cozy weekend cabin and this place fit the bill. We were delighted with this little retro A-Frame! My husband loves retro style and I am happy with anything cozy. This place suited both of our tastes. We loved watching the sunrise over the lake in the morning and sipping coffee on the deck. "Beautiful home and beautiful property. Being so close to the river was absolutely magical. Owners were incredibly thoughtful and responded immediately to any question we had. Highly, highly recommend."

"Overall: This property did exactly what it was meant to do- allow us to relax and enjoy eachothers company for a week! Cons of our stay though- The water is not swimmable, we had to travel to a near by lake to actually go swimming. The house did not include a table, so it was hard to play our card games. The kitchen included a breakfast bar with stools for eating meals but not great for playing games. The week that we stayed was the hottest of the year... no ones fault, just ended up that way....

"The house was lovely, very clean and nicely decorated. The lake was beautiful with loons calling and a wonderful breeze coming off the lake. The games were a big hit as were all the places to just enjoy the views. We had a rainy stay, but we loved the stay and house. Brett was a super helpful host and he was very easy to work with on the rental and checkout. Fantastic!"

"Booked for a mini working vacation. Great cabin, nicely remodeled. Excellent views of the lake from inside or outside. Quiet neighborhood, low traffic volume was nice for an evening walk. There were a pair of canes who visited the lakeshore daily. Short drive to Sauk Rapids, stopped at Rollie’s for a bit to eat. Great food and friendly people. Also stopped at Rumors for some more good food and great people, only minutes away. Will definitely book again when in the area."

"Clean, quiet and lots of extras! Great space to hang out, make meals, catch a bass and have a campfire. You will not be disappointed. Hosts do an excellent of job of providing all the fun and comforts of a home away from home!"

"This is a nice spacious home. We had a big group and plenty of space.The kids loved running in circles around the house. Kayaking and fishing were some of our favorite activities. The pool table was a bonus and the large deck. The kitchen is also nice and large. The shoreline had quite a bit of seaweed during our stay, so it was difficult for little ones to swim, but we were able to swim out further.
