The location was outstanding...just yards from the Appalachian Trail with stunning view of the Shanendoah River and accessible to upper and lower Harpers Ferry. I was on foot throughout my stay and found this site challenging yet ideal with access to the cottage's ridge location via neighborhood streets, trails, and hillside stairs,...all beautiful and filled with history. I hope to return again...

"Spotless, well-appointed small house with fenced off privacy from the main house. Comfortable bed. Location was great for walking into town but also being quiet at night. A great play to stay to enjoy all of the outdoor things to do in Harper's Ferry as well as the history. Thoughtful hosts provided a lot of information about the area."

"This property was amazing for our weekend getaway. The property manager was amazing, and on top of us needing a fridge due to ours not getting cold. We had two babies that are both nursed and our breastmilk is as you know liquid gold! It was late on a Friday night and they bought us a mini fridge to help. We are forever grateful and will return."

"Our family of 7 adults were in the area for a wedding. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We live in a crowded beach resort area with lots of traffic so the quiet secluded neighborhood was much appreciated. We would love to come back when we can spend more time visiting the area."

"The property was listed by two agencies and double booked. It took us some time to contact the owner. We were very disappointed not to get what we had reserved. However, they had another property which was available but had to be cleaned and so we waited. Also, the key did not work in the lock and at 8:30pm a locksmith had to be called. The property is lovely and it could have been a much less stressful stay."

"The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!"
