"Very quiet and chill hotel not much going on. Check in was smooth. Upon getting into my room I noticed the smoke detector was going off because of a low battery. I notified front desk and she came shortly after. Pretty decent hotel if you’re on a budget. The shower could use some remodeling, the bed was super comfortable. The free breakfast and free shuttle was a plus !"

"Wonderful staff and a beautiful property. We stayed in the bunkbed room which was perfect for two adults going to a concert. They even have little privacy curtains that you can pull closed, and outlets for both the top and bottom bunk. We grabbed a cocktail at the bar, Candy Bar which was beautiful but you absolutely need a reservation. Fantastic staff, Detroit has some of the best hospitality and every single person I talked to at the hotel was great. "

"Bathroom was nasty had hair all over the shower and on the floor asked for room service did not provide room service at all the 4 days I spent there "

"Staff was very friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable! Although we didnt use the other amenities such as the bistro and pool areas, they looked very nice and inviting. One thing i wish it had.. was a microwave in the room, we had some leftovers we wish we couldve heated up. Usually when theres a fridge theres a microwave "

"Ren Cen Marriott was very accommodating during my stay. They had some issues with the app for remote check-in, but were able to take care of everything at the desk very quickly. When I requested an additional blanket, they called and brought it to my room promptly. They also set up a late checkout so I could get some extra rest on my final night."

"Booked a very last minute room here after a cancelled flight and not being able to travel again until the following day. The room was comfortable and clean, and good value for money. The shuttle bus to/from the airport was also a great addition! My only negatives would be how loud the air conditioning unit was, and that having a room on the ground floor meant I was woken up by car headlights quite a lot (I didn’t notice the black out blind behind the main one until morning as it was already dark...

"Mostly great but safe in my room didn’t work. Asked for a late checkout and was told I could stay until noon. 11:30 the desk called (same guy who told me noon) and asked me why I hadn’t checked out yet. 🤔 Either way, still a great spot with great decor / furnishings. Will likely be back again. "

"The staff were all really nice. Large clean room. Quiet hotel. Felt safe walking around the area. Area is pretty at night with lights in the trees. Would recommend staying here. Will stay here again when I am in the area."
