"This is a wonderful cottage in an ideal location. The cottage is located behind Patty's house on a quiet street that's three blocks from the inviting College Avenue array of varied restaurants (Italian, American, Mediterranean, ice cream, Peet's). A 20-minute walk to the UC campus. The cottage itself has a large, comfortable bed in main bedroom. a second bedroom with a pull-out couch that we used as an office during a six-day stay, an up-to-date and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, spacious...

The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!"

"While the place was clean, and we enjoyed our stay there are 2 issues that can pose a problem. 1 the parking can be hard to get. And if you come when it's dark the first day locating the house can be challenging. 2 the bed is on a raise floor about 18inch up. There is a step stool to use but older people should beware as this could be a problem. The bed is very comfortable and sleep well. The washing machine did not work while we were there. Would stay again for short visits."
