"I cant say enough about this Unit, Resort, Staff, Food, and all the amenities included during this trip. We spent most of the day by and in the water (Beach, Pool, Lazy River). We loved the new addition the Resort now has (Free shuttle to the Lauderdale by the sea and Las Olas Area). Mid-way through our stay we booked a return trip here and we are already looking forward to our return."

From getting coffee in the gift shop, to the fantastic beach hands setting up your lounge chair and umbrella on the beach, cocktails in the bar or by the pool, quick gym workout and delicious dinner in the restaurant or veranda overlooking the beach. "My husband and I stayed at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort for our 21st anniversary and we are already planning our 22nd! "Property is privately owned in a high end resort hotel. The unit is beautiful but certainly not up to the standards of the hotel as far as cleanliness. Mold, broken fixtures, stained carpet.. etc. Five days before the end of our two week stay we were told the owner sold the unit. The hotel expected us to pay them a daily rate on top of our paid reservation or leave. We were unable to reach the owner, but VRBO tried to intervene. Fortunately the hotel manager stepped in and we were able to stay...

"The accommodations were great and staff was very professional. The one issue I didn’t like was you are pretty munch forced to use their valet parking 39.99 daily if you have a car. The only other option would be street parking which could be a far walk. "
