If you want a real review of this property, read this: My boyfriend and I stayed in the royal tower, and we definitely received priority service because of that. The check-in process was very easy, and we were introduced to our 'butler' who assisted us with whatever we needed. One thing that is included when you have a room in the royal tower are the cabanas. Without it, they are $200 a day. I thought the cabanas were necessary for us because there is no shade by the adult pool. And if you want shade by the regular pool, be prepared to wake up at 6am to lay down towels on your chairs. Another thing to think about, is making sure to pack extra sunscreen. The only sunscreen on the resort is $30 a bottle. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. The buffet, however, was a hit or miss. The restaurants have a strict dress code for men, but women can wear whatever they want. My boyfriend got away with wearing short sleeve button-ups, linen pants, and boat shoes. And the drinks were great. The bartenders did not skimp on alcohol. One downside is the music by the adult pool. I am not joking when I say they have a playlist of 8 songs playing on repeat. This was disappointing because they had a DJ our first night, so we were expecting that every night. And you would think the rooftop bar would have more of a nightlife. But it was very chill, which was both good and bad. Overall, we thought this was a great place to stay!

My boyfriend and I stayed for 8 nights in the tower suite and the entire stay was amazing. The staff was very friendly and remembered us wherever we went, might be because we always left a tip, but it was nice to have the waiters and bartenders remember what we like to drink. Our butler jessica was also very helpful with reservations and anything we needed really. The entire resort was very clean and we enjoyed the food. The tacos at the mexican seafood restaurant at lunch time are a must have. Included with our suite was a vip lounge where they served a mini buffet for breakfast and lunch, also the one area where we could get a bloody mary and mimosa before the bars even opened. Rusmel, the waiter there got to know us pretty well and he was just a pleasure to see every morning. Very kind and funny man who knows how to make a great bloody mary!

We’re stayed 9 days and we have wonderful time.Very clean and quiet rooms, all ocean views with balconies.This is our fourth time in same hotel because of wonderful, hard working people, very friendly staff. Especially thanks to Xitlali in Cafe Sole for good coffee and cookies every day, thanks to Maria, waitress around pool, thanks to our friend Mercedes, Juan, Erica and Guadalupe from Italian restaurant who make our stay wonderful. We are planning to stay there again.

We love the property. The food was NOT good at all. Room service food was cold every time. The buffet selection was slim. The restaurants food was as not good. The only restaurant that was good was Prime which you had to pay for.

Grand Park Royal was a very clean place with ocean views for miles. The swim up rooms are worth the splurge. We had one odd incident which I will spare details since it has no reflection on the staff directly assisting us — who did all they could to resolve the situation. I would like to express my appreciation for our butler, Yajahira, who did absolutely everything she could to make us comfortable, happy and safe. The one thing that makes us hesitant to return to this property is the food. There are a wide assortment of restaurants but nearly everything was very subpar in taste and quality.

This was our second time staying in this property and both times have been amazing! The staff is so nice, the food was amazing! The drinks were also great! We love and enjoy our time here and can’t wait to come back! Yajahira was out butler this time and she took care of it all for us! She was amazing!!!!

Hotel was not what we expected. The food was really bad quality. The rooms didn’t have their personal fridge. Has to get hot water by the pools. Also, room service charges a few when we ordered twice in one day. That’s just ridiculous.

I enjoyed the property and how walkable it was. The staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The restaurants were good and the snack bars were nice. My only complaints is that the buffet food could have been a lot better. Our room because it had the swim up, was very warm due to the sun directly hitting our patio. Even with the blinds covering the window, our AC never got lower than 73 degrees. It was humid in the room so we often saw mosquitos that were a pain to find and kill. I know they have better rooms so I will not fault the resort for that, you get what you pay for.

We enjoyed every minute exploring the resort. The Skybar is a vibe for late night drinks, music not so good though. The restaurants were upscale and they treated us like we are appreciated. I'd recommend my friends.

** Mid service 1. The staff will cover their own! I trusted these people with leaving my items in my room however the cleaning personnel went through our bags wallets and stole money left in our bedroom. Brought this to the “manager’s” interest and said there was nothing that could be done & insinuated that we took our own funds. He claimed they saw us leave with our belongings however, we never left with the bag which contained the funds. 2. The taxi service HERE is a scam. I was charged about 25 USD for a drive to coco bongo area (approximately 5 minute drive at the time). They see Americans and will up charge you, better off taking a taxi on the street ordering Uber. 3. The food is MID. There is a limited variety of food and doing “reservations” is a waste of time. You will wait 20 extra minutes after reservation and wait an extra 45min - 1hrs for your actual meal.

It was everything excellent, the service it was amazing no matter if you at the beach or in the bar they always provide with a cold drinks service was amazing besides that everything else was fantastic we had a very great time
