"We were delighted to pull into a beautiful working horse farm at the edge of town. It's quiet at night, and dark enough to get a beautiful view of the stars. Super friendly cats! The unit is clean, has everything we needed to cook up a breakfast, and offerred a nice place to rest in between wine tastings. We were lucky enough to see a SpaceX rocket launch from Vandenburg AFB. "So enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! Clean, comfortable and beautiful surroundings. We were met with turkeys right outside the house every morning. Saw deer on the hills at sunset. We even used the outdoor grill to barbecue steaks from the Cal Poly Meat Market down the road! Usually grills at rentals are far from clean! "We were a group meeting up in one of our favorite cities from 2 different states. We chose Sam’s home to have amazing views while we catch up on life. There was plenty to do and we enjoyed every bit of the property. The views were enjoyed with morning coffee and afternoon sunshine. All the beds were comfortable. The house was right for the 46 and easy to get to. Sam was responsive with all messages leading up to, and on, the trip. Definitely keeping this home bookmarked for future stays!"

"We recently stayed here with a group of 6 adults for a long birthday weekend. I cannot say enough great things about this property and honestly did not want to leave at the end of our trip. "This property was the perfect getaway spot for us in Malibu. The ocean view from the front with the lovely porch including rocking chairs and the views of the mountains, valley and vineyard in back with the Adirondack chairs for relaxing were a delightful treat. We loved the bird and wildlife viewing, hiking the trail in back and the peaceful quietness of the property. We had easy access to the PCH and all that Malibu had to offer, including the lovely shopping center at the bottom of the hill....

"If you don't like animals you won't like it here. The views were great, watching the full moon set out of the big windows and then the sun come up through the kitchen window was neat. My only real complaint is the bathroom was made for shorter people it seems. Short shower head and curtain and the vanity mirror is really low but overall just a minor inconvenience."

The team was very friendly and easy to work with at Birdsong. The house... absolutely gorgeous. Everything you could want in a beautiful getaway.
